About Maverick Works
A small Vermont-based consultancy helping leaders make clearer decisions and build stronger operations. Brand, digital, and AI support the work when they are needed.

Who leads the work
Maverick Works is led by a Vermont operations professional with more than a decade of experience leading service teams, solving delivery problems, developing people, and making business decisions under real pressure.
The work is personal and accountable. Clients work directly with the engagement lead. Independent specialists join when a project calls for specific expertise, with that scope agreed up front.

“A recommendation only matters if the business can put it to work.”
Our point of view
Businesses do not need more jargon, inflated presentations, or generic playbooks. They need clear thinking grounded in how the organization actually works.
Every engagement begins with context: the operation, customer, pressure points, and outcome that matters.
How we work
Maverick Works is a small Vermont-based consultancy focused on how a business actually runs. We connect strategy and operations first, then bring in brand, digital design, or practical AI when the work calls for it. That connected view helps us solve the underlying business problem instead of treating each symptom in isolation.
We shape each engagement around the work required. Clients work directly with the person leading the engagement. We bring in independent specialists when a project needs a skill beyond the core work, and agree on that scope up front.
Values and culture
Clear diagnosis comes before comfortable answers.
A system succeeds only when it makes sense for the people using it.
Do what you say, protect what is shared, and communicate directly.
A better business should create stronger work and a culture people can be proud of.
Why the name?
Maverick means independent thinking and questioning what no longer works. Works keeps the promise grounded: the result has to be useful.
